My work is primarily one of a kind with a few limited edition or series pieces created
each year. Each piece is hand fabricated from precious metals using exotic, common,
and dramatic gemstones in bold and unexpected color combinations.

The first time I made jewelry was the evening after a friend took me to a
wholesale bead and jewelry show in 1991. Using my hands to create things has been
almost an obsession for most of my life. When I saw all the brightly colored beads
in all sorts of materials, textures and shapes, I was hooked. It wasn't long before
I felt confined just working with beads so I began learning to work with metals.
Next came lapidary. With these skills, I could cut, shape, hammer, texture,
forge, bend, carve and grind anything to complete a design.
Now, almost eight years later I am still learning new skills and
techniques and still excited about the journey. Jewelry design and fabrication is my
passion, the path that allows me to express myself artistically and feel complete. I
hope you enjoy my work as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
