Sauce Gardner Presents Aaron Rodgers With Custom No. 8 Chain In Heartwarming Gesture
Back in April, Gardner, who is only 22 years old, tweeted that he and his jeweler, Al, 'got something' for 'ARod,' also known as Rodgers, who is 39 years old, accompanied by an emoji of a diamond.
Two months later, on a Saturday, Gardner gave the chain to Rodgers while Rodgers was working on his conditioning inside a facility belonging to the Jets. Said Gardner at first:
“„Hear me out, hear me out. So, you're my jeweler's favorite quarterback. You know what I mean? Al, the Jeweler. So he wanted to cook up something special for you...he brought the idea to me, I said I think it would be a good idea...- Sauce Gardner
Then, Gardner, who was selected by the Jets with the fourth overall choice in the 2022 NFL Draft, unlocks a black jewelrycase to expose the No. 8 chain, which is embellished in Gang Green's colors, which are green and white.
But that wasn't the end of it; after that, Rodgers said to his friend who was a sophomore, "You got to put it on me."
Rodgers manages to pull off a smile despite the fact that his arms are crossed and he is wearing a t-shirt that says "Phase Me." In the backdrop of the video that the Jets franchise posted to Twitter of the moment, a member of the Jets staff can be seen listening.
As Rodgers and Gardner were hugging one other, Rodgers stated to Gardner, "Thanks man, I appreciate it."
Since Aaron Rodgers was sent to the New York Giants in June from the Green Bay Packers, the two players have become particularly close to one another.
Not only did Gardner express his joy at the addition of the four-time league MVP to the Jets' roster, but he also had the opportunity to hang out with the 2011 Super Bowl champion while they were both in attendance at a Knicks playoff game. Actress Jessica Alba was also in attendance at the game.

In addition, Rodgers and Gardner have been seen having a good time together during Jets training as the club prepares to play the Cleveland Browns in the Pro Football Hall of Fame game on August 3 in Ohio.
The head coach of the New York Jets, Robert Saleh, has clearly hinted that he won't play his starters in the highly anticipated battle; however, he has not yet confirmed whether or not Aaron Rodgers will sit out the game.
